OUCH, just had a blackout, but we are now ok.
Had a normal day at work today.
Got the payment schedule ready and sent off to WMAC.
Told McCowans Solicitors that we dont wixh to use them in our claim.
Foxtel will ring me back on Friday evening to let me know if the technician will show up on Saturday.
Got the Police Incident Number for the claim.
Kate arranged for the solicitor from around the block to visit her on Monday for the first free consultation, to see how they work out their cut of the payout figure.

Just got thru reading the doco the lawyers sent us regarding claiming for the accident through CTP. Gonna discuss this with some people first.

Watch a good show tonight, it was a documentary on Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen.

Foxtel's gonna ring me tomorrow, to confirm when the technician will come here to replace our IQ box.

Gotta get up at 4am tomorrow.

Today I contacted the people who told me how the CTP claims work. QBE is sending us some stuff in the mail to fill out and a medical certificate for our doctor to fill in, so we can start the claims process. We also got contacted by a lawyer that we visited online a few days ago, saying that if they take on our claim, we could get a huge payout. I dont know about this and Im going to shop around for lawyers and see if they all say the same thing. Took all 5 kids to the doctors today. Wasnt as bad as it usually is, but it was bad, lol.

Well, its my 42nd birthday today, so now Im closer to knowing the answer to life, the universe, and everything. My last post was November last year. Slack, arent I.

Well today was no better than the rest of the last week. Kate had 2 car accidents today in 2 different cars, both of which were not her fault. She has a sore neck from one of them. The first was a taxi jumping into a car park in front of her as she was starting to pull out of hers, and it side-swiped her, then the taxi driver jumped out and started abusing her, and swearing, and she had 3 small kids in the car. I was not impressed. the 2nd was a car rear-ending her and squashing the back of the car in so the boot wont close. She got it fixed up with the insurance and got a hire car organised while it gets fixed.

Im not going to go into the past from today backwards, that can be water under the bridge. Sufficient to say we are in a bad way with our finances and are waiting for some help from Kates parents.

I think I had a whopping 3 hours sleep last night, well, it was better than the previous night when I only got 2 hours. I was buggered at work, I can tell YOU.

Tried a $6.90 pie, was good, but not worth it. Also the drink was $4.80.
Rang to ask for refund back from car dealer. Found they were entitled to keep it since we got out in the cooling-off period.
Rang ITel and Bigpond re the stuff-up. Decided to go with Bigpond on double usage plan (25Gb per month) at $20 discount per month ($240 credit). Cancelled application with ITel. They found there was an incorrect code on the server and its been fixed should we decide in future to go with them.

Tilly stopped breathing a bit today. Very sick today.

Met with Paul Green at Myer Centre re talking about the new position. He sent thru a PD on the Designer position.
Picked up new trousers and took receipt to MAX, who will put through a reimbursement tonight.
Shopping at Booval. Paid rego online.
Doctor was called out tonight to look at Rachel. He got here at midnight.

No church, everyone was sick. Tidied the house up a bit, Kevin called in the drop in a few things. Kevin said that John had asked him to remind me of the 16th of July. Jess was dropped back after lunch from Grace's place. Kevin called in again with some bread and couple of things we needed from the shops. Found out who made the L&M transaction and decided to forego any action unless it comes up again. Coded up a lot of Mansion from scratch. Chicken meatballs in sweet & sour sauce for tea.

Aircon unit was moved to 4.2 metres away from the gas bottles.
Made arrangement to pay gas bill on Monday by Bpay, and to pay Mobile bill on Tuesday.
Transferred all the photos from my phone to Kate's via bluetooth, then to the laptop via cable link.
Last day of school for the term. Kids had party each.

Kate & Sass took Reba to Indoo. Got note about the gas cylinders and the aircon. Gave Jess $1 for the disco. Started book 3 of The Dark Tower. Upgraded to new V3xx mobile phone. Was advised that the aircon unit will be moved, tomorrow. Received money for paying the gas bill tomorrow.
